Heros of the faith at work.

These must be some of the bravest women I know.  All single tribal women from The River Team, all sold out to serve God,  all headed off this week to establish a new work in on of Thailand's troubled regions.  Tim will be joining them in a few days to run a children's camp in conjunction with the local government in the region.  While this is happening another kids camp is being run by members of our team near the Laos boarder and more team members have gone to various other events, leaving just a skeleton team on site at the moment.

Despite the small team, we have had powerful morning prayer meetings with the prayer, worship and teaching occurring outside.  This toy train became a powerful object lesson, illustrating to us the journey we are on and the need to get people "on board" the train with us.  Here Bird plays the guitar while Gig (right) leads the meeting.  Our team meets for prayer, worship and training 6 days a week before heading out to connect with the local community.
The young man on the right  of this picture is "Boy".  Boy has recently been in psychiatric care as the result of severe addictions, but on release had no where and no one to go to.  He came to us and is now working on site at The River.  He has been with us 3 days and is already experiencing a love and acceptance that he has never known before.  We believe it will not be too long until he meets with Perfect Love.  Here some of the men of our team gather around him to pray as he works sweeping the leaves off the grass in front of our meeting hall.
